What a day to remember! The Fairway Ladies hosted a joyful and impactful "Anything Goes" Charity Tournament on a picture-perfect Saturday. The event was a tremendous success, thanks to the tireless efforts of our volunteers, generous donors, and enthusiastic participants. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, we surpassed our goal and raised $5,765 for our supported charities: Finex House, Hearth Inc and Boston’s First Tee.

Leaderboard Highlights

Congratulations to Krista Fulton and Linda DeRenzo for earning the most Stableford points and taking home the top spot of the day with an impressive score of 44 points!

In second place, Valerie Duval and Rhonda Wittels finished strong with 43 points.

Volunteer Appreciation

• Tournament Organizing Team: Huge thanks to Janet Frink, Gail Schoenbrunn, Denise Dodds, and Liz Wilson for their seamless coordination.

• Janet and Gail handled registration, lunch, dessert, snacks, and hydration.

• Denise, our Handicap Chair, managed scorecards and scoring via Golf Genius.

• Liz oversaw the sign-up process and tee sheet creation.

• Photography: Mary Fitzpatrick captured team photos throughout the day.

• Charity Committee: Led by the extraordinary Rachel Camper, with support from Winnie Cotter and Debra Watson, who created all hole sponsorship signs and provided hands-on help throughout the event.

• Raffle & Basket Team: Winnie and Liz stayed all day to sell raffles and watch over the prize baskets.

• Set-Up & Sales Volunteers: Thank you to Marilyn Miller, Cheryl Spence, Valerie Duval, Maryellen Foley, Denise Delorey and SB Havican for their early morning help and raffle sales.

From the first tee shot to the final raffle, our “Anything Goes” Tournament was nothing short of amazing. We surpassed our fundraising goals- all while laughing, golfing and celebrating community. Thank you for making it happen- we can’t wait to top it next year!
